I joined Crossroads Chamber because I believe in the power of connection and community. The Chamber brings together local business owners, leaders, and organizations who all want to see Northwest Indiana thrive.

About Stacy Travis

A Northwest Indiana native, Stacy grew up in Highland and now resides in Schererville, where she and her husband raised their five children. Family has always been at the center of her life, shaping both her personal values and professional journey.

She launched Town Planner of Northwest Indiana in 2009, starting as a part-time venture while raising her family. Through hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to serving others, she has grown the business into a premier regional marketing platform.

Her passion for community connection began during her time at Indiana University Bloomington, where she completed an internship with United Way and helped develop community resource guides. That experience sparked her desire to connect people with valuable local resources and support the organizations that make a difference.

Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, she understands firsthand the challenges and rewards of running a business. Today, she brings that perspective into her work, helping business owners share their stories, grow their reach, and stay connected to the communities they serve.

Looking ahead, she is focused on expanding Town Planner of NWI’s reach, strengthening community partnerships, and continuing to create opportunities where business growth and community impact go hand in hand.
