Humane Indiana 2026 Gala Co-chairs Announced

Munster, IN – Humane Indiana is proud to announce that Jeanne Robbins, CEO of Munster Steel, Inc., and Taylor Dawson, Marketing Manager at Three Floyds Brewing, will serve as co-chairs for the 2026 Heart of Rock & Rock Gala.

The Heart of Rock & Rock Gala, taking place March 21, 2026, is Humane Indiana’s premier annual fundraiser, supporting the organization’s Shelter & Adoption Center, Estelle Marcus Animal Clinic, and Wildlife Rehabilitation & Education Center. The event brings together community leaders, businesses, and compassionate supporters for an unforgettable evening dedicated to saving and improving the lives of animals across the region.

Both Robbins and Dawson were recognized for their extraordinary commitment to Humane Indiana at the 2025 gala. Robbins received the prestigious Thomas Ray Crowel Humanitarian Award, honoring her transformative impact and philanthropic leadership. Dawson was presented with a Humane Hero Award in recognition of her advocacy, creativity, and hands-on dedication to the organization’s mission.

“Humane Indiana holds a special place in my heart,” said Jeanne Robbins. “Being honored with the Thomas Ray Crowel Humanitarian Award was deeply meaningful to me. I have seen firsthand the life-changing work this organization does for animals and families in our community. I’m excited to help lead the 2026 gala and inspire others to invest in this mission of compassion and hope.”

Taylor Dawson shared similar enthusiasm about stepping into the co-chair role. “Receiving the Humane Hero Award last year was such an honor,” said Dawson. “I believe in Humane Indiana’s work wholeheartedly – from animal rescue and adoption to wildlife rehabilitation and accessible veterinary care. The Heart of Rock & Rock Gala is an incredible opportunity to rally our community, have a great time, and make a tangible difference for animals who need us.”

Humane Indiana CEO Brian Fitzpatrick expressed his gratitude for their leadership.

“Jeanne and Taylor represent the very best of our community – visionary leadership, generosity, and a genuine love for animals,” said Fitzpatrick. “Their energy and dedication will elevate the 2026 Heart of Rock & Rock Gala to new heights. We are honored to have them guiding this important event as we continue expanding our impact for both domestic animals and wildlife.”

The 2026 Heart of Rock & Rock Gala promises an evening of inspiring stories of hope, honoring leadership, celebrating the animals, and opportunities to directly support Humane Indiana’s lifesaving programs.
