NORTHWEST INDIANA | Powers Health recently welcomed three physicians to the Powers Health Medical Group team of providers. Specialties these physicians represent include breast surgery, cardiology and orthopedic surgery.

Breast Surgical Oncologist Raquel Gonzalez Heredia, MD, PhD, is affiliated with Community Hospital in Munster. She completed an Interdisciplinary Breast Disease fellowship at University of Illinois Chicago, a General Surgery residency at University of Illinois/Mount Sinai Hospital and received her medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, Madrid, Spain. Cardiologist Elizabeth Riddell, MD, has joined the staff at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. She completed her residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and two Heart Failure and Transplant fellowships at Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital Ascension St. Vincent Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. She is accepting new patients at her offices in Hobart and Valparaiso. Board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon Bryan Scott, MD, is affiliated with Community Hospital and St. Mary Medical Center. He completed an Adult Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, an Orthopedic Trauma fellowship at Denver Health, University of Colorado and his residency at University of Chicago. He earned his medical degree from University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He is accepting new patients at his offices in Crown Point and Munster.
