MUNSTER, IN — Humane Indiana is excited to announce a new partnership with Hydrant Pet Center that will help newly adopted dogs look and feel their best as they begin life with their new families.

Through the partnership, every dog adopted from Humane Indiana’s Shelter & Adoption Center will receive a voucher for a complimentary first grooming appointment at Hydrant Pet Center. The free grooming package includes a bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, brush and blowout, and haircut.

The initiative is designed to support both pets and their adopters during the important transition from shelter life to a forever home.

“Adoption is just the beginning of a pet’s journey,” said Brian Fitzpatrick, CEO of Humane Indiana. “We are grateful to Hydrant Pet Center for helping ensure that newly adopted dogs receive extra care, comfort, and attention as they settle into their new families. Partnerships like this strengthen our community and enhance the experience for both pets and the people who love them.”

“One of our goals is to help every adoption be successful from the very beginning,” said Jessica Greer, Senior Director of Shelter & Clinic Operations at Humane Indiana. “We’re thrilled to be able to offer this complimentary grooming service to our adopters and are incredibly thankful to Hydrant Pet Center for partnering with us. Welcoming a new dog into your home is an exciting time, and this thoughtful gift helps families start that journey with extra support and care.”

Hydrant Pet Center, a trusted local destination for pet care services and supplies, shares Humane Indiana’s commitment to animal well-being and responsible pet ownership.

“Humane Indiana gives so many pets a second chance, and we’re honored to support that mission,” said Niki Hitt, Marketing Director of Hydrant Pet Center. We look forward to welcoming these new pet parents into the Hydrant family and being a small part of their story as they settle into life together.”

Each adoption packet for eligible dogs will include a personalized grooming voucher redeemable at Hydrant Pet Center. The offer is valid for newly adopted dogs and must be redeemed within 60 days of adoption.

Humane Indiana and Hydrant Pet Center hope the partnership will make the adoption experience even more rewarding while encouraging lifelong bonds between pets and their families.
