Checkout Challenge Round-Up Campaign to Benefit Humane Indiana Wildlife
April 14, 2026
NORTHWEST INDIANA, May 2026 – Strack & Van Til and Town & Country are partnering with Humane Indiana to support local wildlife through a week-long checkout round-up campaign.
From Monday, May 4 through Sunday, May 10, shoppers at all 22 Strack & Van Til locations and one Town & Country store will have the opportunity to round up their purchases at checkout, with all donations benefiting Humane Indiana Wildlife.
“We are proud to support Humane Indiana and the critical work they do for wildlife in our region,” said Jeff Strack, President & CEO of Strack & Van Til. “This round-up campaign gives our customers a simple yet meaningful way to make a difference for injured and orphaned animals in need.”
Funds raised through the campaign will directly support Humane Indiana’s Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center, which provides care for thousands of injured, orphaned, and displaced wild animals each year.
“We are incredibly grateful to Strack & Van Til, Town & Country, and their customers for making this campaign possible,” said Brian Fitzpatrick, CEO of Humane Indiana. “Every round-up donation helps provide lifesaving care to wildlife and ensures they have a second chance to return to their natural habitats.”
“This support comes at a critical time for wildlife,” said Nicole Harmon, Senior Director of Wildlife Rehabilitation at Humane Indiana. “Each spring and summer, we see an influx of injured and orphaned animals. Community-driven efforts like this round-up campaign allow us to provide the specialized care these animals need and ultimately return them to the wild where they belong.”
Humane Indiana’s Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center cares for more than 3,600 animals annually, including birds of prey, mammals, reptiles, and more. Community support through initiatives like this round-up campaign plays a vital role in sustaining that work.
