Methodist Hospitals Foundation Appoints New Executive Director

Methodist Hospitals is pleased to announce the appointment of James R. (Jamie) Mack as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Mack brings nearly three decades of leadership in healthcare finance as well as a deep understanding of Methodist Hospitals and the community it serves.

Mack joins Methodist from St. Anthony Hospital in Chicago, where he had served as Vice President of Finance since 2016. His extensive financial experience includes senior leadership positions at Sinai Health Systems in Chicago, Pinnacle Hospital in Crown Point and other health care organizations in Illinois and Northwest Indiana. He is an expert in accounting, reimbursement, charge structure, pricing models and pricing strategies in both for-profit and non-profit organizations as well as strategic and reputation development.

He is a returning member of Methodist family, having served as Methodist Controller from 1987 to 2006. A native of Northwest Indiana, Jamie also has a deep understanding of The Region and of the communities that Methodist Hospitals serves.

Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting degree from Ball State University and a Masters in Healthcare Administration, Public Affairs, Health Services Administration from Indiana University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has served as a limited term lecturer at Purdue University and Indiana University. He is a member of the Indiana C.P.A. Society, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and Tech Credit Union Board of Directors. Jamie lives in Crown Point, Indiana with his wife.
